Travel illustrations

Martin Haake is an internationally known illustrator and artist. After some years living in London, Martin moved back to Berlin where he lives with his wife and his two sons who both want to grow up to be pirates!(the old fashioned kind of course). He has been working as a freelance illustrator for about 14 years for clients all over the world: Barnes & Noble, The Royal Society of Arts, Penguin Books, The Boston Globe,Travel & Leisure, Elle and the Shangri-la Hotel, Hongkong to name a few.

Martin Haake’s work has been selected for many illustration and design annuals. He is a big fan ofAmerican Folk art and is collecting telephone doodles. Some of his work has won international awards like the silver awards at the German and British Art Directors Club. He is a big fan of American Folk art and is collecting telephone doodles. At the moment he is working on a children’s book about pirates.
